A hare in the grass, at dusk

There is a hare that moves through Laikipia's grass at dusk, quick and quiet, gone before you've fully seen it. In Swahili, they call it sungura. It's the same name we gave a thread, one that hops through soft, sand-coloured cotton, handwoven in Kenya for quiet, modern living.
